App Design | Brand Identity | UI/UX
Carfair
I conceptualized and designed an end-to-end app MVP to help people shop for new cars and understand their final price before buying

Understanding the market
I conducted a review of articles authored by industry experts to examine the car-buying landscape during the pandemic. Additionally, I carried out interviews to assess public awareness of the situation and to determine the extent to which individuals have been affected.

Building the solution
As an initial step in building the app, I created a sitemap to define its information architecture, ensuring a structure that is simple, intuitive, and easy to navigate. I then sketched low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the user experience and designed the app’s brand identity along with a comprehensive UI kit.

Learnings

This project highlighted the importance of constant iteration, requiring me to recognize and act on the need for adjustments at every stage of the process. Another defining factor was the depth of first-hand experience I brought into the work. Having personally gone through the process of buying a new car during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was able to approach the project with unique insights and a genuine understanding of the user perspective.
